The Irish Polish Society (IPS) are currently running their Annual Art Exhibition which opened September 19th of this year.
The exhibition, covering a range of artistic disciplines such as music, sculptures, sketches and mixed media, will run until October 5th. Art without Borders exhibits works not only from Polish artist, but also Spanish, Ukranian and Irish.
This year, the exhibition has a special celebration of the 35th anniversary of the foundation of the IPS and the visit of the “Polish Pope” to Ireland as well as the 25th anniversary of a post WW2 partially-free Polish parliamentary elections. Art without Borders is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the Polish art world and learn more about their culture as well as the collaboration of the IPS with the government of Ireland.
The exhibition will be held at the Polish House on 20 Fitzwilliam Place all weekend between 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm). Find out more here.
