Russian Translator & Business Owner Takes a Leap for a Great Cause

Tatiana Kovalenko is the founder and director of Instant Translation, and a Russian translator and interpreter herself, and she’s getting ready to take a huge leap for a great cause.

Dublin

On the twelfth of August Tatiana will parachute jump for the Chernobyl Children’s Trust.

“As you might know I am from Belarus myself and it would mean a lot for me if you helped me with raising funds for children who suffered from the consequences of Chernobyl disaster. I will be doing a charity parachute jump on the day of my birthday! My personal donation will cover the cost of the parachute jump and I would very much appreciate your support of my daring way of raising funds for Chernobyl Children’s Trust.”

The Chernobyl Children’s Trust is a registered charity set up and run by Irish volunteers committed to helping impoverished children living in contaminated and disadvantaged areas of Belarus. They support children and young adults with various cancers to receive life-saving treatments. Other programmes include: bringing children to Ireland for holidays with host families, the operation of essential programmes in Belarus for the advocacy and support for disabilities, poverty and sickness and the promotion of health and community development for marginalised children and their families across disadvantaged areas of the region. As an organisation of volunteers, they can give maximum donor value to all funds received.

The goal is to raise €500.00 and to get involved you can visit the fundraising page to donate something and/or share the link with friends, businesses etc. who may also want to. Link: http://www.mycharity.ie/event/tatiana_kovalenko_chernobyl_children/
